SYSTEM SUPPORT ANALYST

Reporting to the Plant Manger, the successful candidates will be responsible for providing technical support to the company’s production software applications and production systems.   As a member of this team the focus will be on minimizing downtime and maximizing production levels through delivery of end user training and rapid/ concise technical support.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in the roll out of manufacturing software applications/ systems
• Troubleshoot and analyze manufacturing software/ system failures
• Provide feedback to the appropriate development group for existing manufacturing applications
• Work with other departments to assist in ensuring software compatibility and data integrity with application in use
• Assist Corporate IT with local system maintenance/ upgrades
• Shift work will be required to provide support to a 24 hour operation
• Share on call support for manufacturing software applications outside of regular business hours
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Completion of an associate degree in computer applications or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience in a technical support role
• Experience in an automated manufacturing environment would be an asset
• Ability to effectively troubleshoot issues and present solutions in a fast pace environment
• Ability to communicate effectively with users
• Team-oriented
