Lotterywest Opts For Pollard Banknote For The First Time!

WINNIPEG, Manitoba, May 2, 2013 /CNW/ – Pollard Banknote Limited (TSX: PBL) (Pollard Banknote) is pleased to announce that Lotterywest has awarded Pollard Banknote a two-year contract for the manufacture and supply of instant lottery tickets. This represents Pollard Banknote’s first contract with Lotterywest to supply instant tickets to the Western Australian region. The contract commenced on January 4, 2013 and continues through January 3, 2015, with three one-year extension options available to 2018.

Lotterywest is a contributor to building Western Australia’s quality of life through proceeds to community, local government, and charitable organizations including arts and cultural groups, as well as state health services. In 2011/12, Lotterywest contributed $257 million AUD to the Western Australian community. Of this, Lotterywest provided $116.5 million in direct grants to more than 1,000 community and charitable organizations.
