Desktop Support Analyst

We’re looking for a tech savvy, customer service-oriented professional to join our Service Desk Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing first level IT Support and desktop support services for staff throughout the company.     

What you will do

  • Provide timely and customer service focused technical assistance for end-user support as well as manage end user requests and incidents in an internal Service Desk environment via telephone, e-mail, walk-ups and ServiceNow
  • Analyze, diagnose and solve problems on company mobile devices, laptops, and desktops related to hardware, software, and file/print services in a MS Windows and Mac network environment
  • Install, Moves, Adds and Change (IMAC) activities and account administration
  • Work with other departments to assist in ensuring software compatibility and data integrity with application in use
  • Ensure supply of functional computer equipment is maintained
  • Provide end-user training for new and existing systems and applications

What you will need

  • Post-Secondary education related to Computer Applications/Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Service Desk or similar role
  • Experience with an IT Service Management tool such as Service-Now, Remedy, etc. would be an asset
  • Intermediate proficiency with MS Windows/MS Office & Macintosh OS/Hardware
