Human Resources Coordinator – 18-month Term

Are you someone who is interested in getting exposure and hands on experience in a wide variety of HR functions? If so, we’re looking for you!

We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic, self-starter who will be able to add significant value and impact to the Human Resources function and Team at Pollard Banknote Limited. Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources, you will responsible for supporting recruitment efforts, onboarding new team members, generating & analyzing reports, ensuring compliance with performance management, maintaining organizational charts and tackling various HR projects.

What you will do

  • Execute HR administrative and clerical functions accurately and in a timely manner
  • Maintain a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process in line with Pollard Banknote’s brand and values
  • Own and manage the HRIS database, and various internal HR trackers
  • Deliver new hire orientation training and provide assistance to managers with onboarding their new employee
  • Ensure compliance with employee Work Permits and/or Immigration documentation
  • Act as the first point of contact to internal and external customers on HR inquiries and requests, and deliver quality service
  • Generate various reports to support HR and leadership in making effective business decisions
  • Identify areas of business for continuous process improvement to maintain efficiency & effectiveness
  • Demonstrate confidential and ethical behavior in the performance of all duties
  • Assist with various ad-hoc projects as required

What you will need

  • Related Post-Secondary education
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn & expand your knowledge base
  • Collaborative mindset
  • High proficiency using the Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a curious mindset
