BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Mr. Gordon Pollard
Gordon Pollard joined Pollard Banknote in 1989 as Vice President, Marketing. He became Co-Chief Executive Officer in 1997 and on May 1, 2011, was appointed Executive Chair of the Board of Directors. Prior to 1989, he practiced law with a major Manitoba firm specializing in corporate and securities law. Mr. Pollard has an LL.B. from the University of Manitoba and a B.A. from the University of Winnipeg.
Mr. John Pollard
John Pollard is Co-Chief Executive Officer of Pollard Banknote. He joined Pollard Banknote in 1986 as Vice President, Finance and became Co-Chief Executive Officer in 1997. Prior to 1986, he was an associate with the accounting firm Deloitte & Touche LLP. Mr. Pollard has a B.Comm. (Honours) from the University of Manitoba and is a former member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Manitoba.
Mr. Doug Pollard
Doug Pollard is Co-Chief Executive Officer of Pollard Banknote. He joined Pollard Banknote in 1997 as Vice President, Lottery Management Services and on May 1, 2011, he was appointed Co-Chief Executive Officer. From 1997 to 1999 he was a director and the General Manager of Imprimerie Spéciale de Banque, a subsidiary of Pollard Banknote based in Paris, France. Prior to 1997, Mr. Pollard was a Senior Consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers. Mr. Pollard has an M.B.A. from The Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario and a B.A. from the University of Manitoba.
Mr. David Brown
Dave Brown is President and CEO of Richardson Capital and Managing Director of RBM Capital Limited. Previously, he was Corporate Secretary of James Richardson & Sons, Limited, and a partner in the independent law and accounting firm of Gray & Brown. Mr. Brown also serves on the Board of Directors of GMP Capital, Inc. Richardson Financial Group and Boyd Group Services Inc.. Mr. Brown graduated from the University of Manitoba law school and is a Chartered Professional Accountant and member of the Manitoba Bar.
Mrs. Lee Meagher
Lee Meagher is a Founding Director of CAPWER Inc. In 1997, she founded and served as the CEO of Scootaround Inc, an International Mobility services Company, until it was sold in 2018. She remained Chair of the North American Operations until September 2020. Mrs. Meagher is the past Chair of the St Boniface Hospital Research Foundation and currently serves on the Board of Directors of Cancer Care Manitoba Foundation and the Pan Am Clinic Foundation.
She has a BA from the University of Manitoba.
Ms. Carmele Peter
Carmele Peter is currently President of Exchange Income Corporation, where she joined in November 2012 as Chief Administrative Officer. Prior to joining Exchange Income Corporation, Ms. Peter practiced law for 23 years at the law firm of Aikins, MacAulay & Thorvaldson LLP, where she specialized in transactional and tax work. Ms. Peter was appointed Q.C. in 2019. Ms. Peter also currently serves as a Director of James Richardson & Sons, Limited, Chair of the Manitoba Civil Service Superannuation Fund and is a member of the International Women’s Forum.
