LANSING, Michigan, March 17, 2017 /CNW/ – NeoPollard Interactive LLC (“NeoPollard Interactive” or “NPI”) is pleased to announce that Scott Bowen has joined the company as Senior Vice President, Business Development. In this role, Scott will work with NPI to help inform the industry of the value of iLottery products and services, and assist North American lotteries in navigating the complexities of legislative approval and responsible internet gaming.
Mr. Bowen joins NeoPollard Interactive after serving nine years as Commissioner of the Michigan Lottery, where he oversaw the development and implementation of several innovative initiatives, including the launch of online games in 2014. Under Scott Bowen’s leadership, the Lottery’s launch of online games has been the most successful in North America. Since the launch, more than 500,000 Michigan players have registered to play online, and online games are expected to generate an additional $480 million for the state’s School Aid Fund over the first eight years of operation. In addition to launching the most successful online lottery sales platform, he also guided the Michigan Lottery to similar success with traditional retail sales. Since 2014, retail lottery sales in Michigan have increased by approximately 18%.
“I am very eager to embark on this new opportunity and continue to play a significant role in the digital lottery space,” said Scott Bowen. “NeoPollard Interactive has proven to be the iLottery leader in North America. I am enthusiastic about the potential that iLottery offers to North American lotteries, and I look forward to sharing my knowledge and experience with other lottery directors to assist their efforts to offer online games to their players and increase the support they provide to their beneficiaries.”
